The property is near Cypress N. Houston and Eldridge intersection – on the southwest corner with frontage to Cypress N. Houston. The tract is set to be the new location for SPS headquarters; expecting to move operations from their current location on Tower Oaks to this new property later this year.
The property includes an existing 2,600 sqft office that is scheduled for remodeling to accommodate SPS' growing staff. The existing office will be accompanied by a new 2,500 sqft office building set to break ground very soon. Between these two buildings, SPS headquarters will boast 2 generously sized state-of-the-art conference rooms and enough office space for 25+ employees.
The property initially caught the eye of SPS President, Don Schultz, earlier this year for its down-home country feel stating that it was a "…country oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Houston… it is an ideal place for SPS employees to call a home-away-from-home…"
Over the past year, SPS has experienced tremendous growth & has doubled their staff accordingly. Keeping with their business philosophy and values, SPS will continue to operate as a small-oriented company with focus on customer responsiveness and meeting market demands expediently. One of SPS’ most recent additions has added experience and guidance to our engineering department. Russ Scinta, formally of Peerless Mfg, joins SPS Engineering Department as Lead Engineer and brings 40+ years of ASME pressure vessel design and manufacturing experience.
